We had an amazing opportunity to join the Kyra Music Festival this year to perform with other schools across Lincolnshire - over 300 children singing together!
The children were offered workshops to attend where Chapel pupils were able to learn how to use boom whackers correctly.
Pupils also had the wonderful chance of performing on stage and our school choir did us proud singing ‘Fight Song’ by Rachel Platten. The children also used sign language to communicate the song.
A parent in the audience whose child was taking part from another school, emailed Chapel St Leonards Primary to say this about our pupil's performance:
"I'm currently sitting at the Kyra Music Festival to watch my daughter (not from Chapel St Leonards Primary) perform, and your pupils have just been on stage singing 'Fight Song' along with performing the sign language. They were amazing. It was the best performance of the night, and the crowd loved it. They did themselves very, very proud. Great job!".
