Free School Meals

News

19th March 2020

We have been given further government guidance about the provision of Free School Meals (FSM) for those who are eligible. We are pleased to tell you the school kitchen will be open next week.

If you are currently eligible for Free School Meals you can order a hot meal that can be collected from the school at 12.15pm from the KS1 Playground each day.

To order your meal you need to complete a dinner menu for each child that is eligible or ring the School Office before 10am on Monday 23rd March to order meals for the week.

If you are unsure if you are eligible for FSM then you can also contact to the School Office to check.

I need to be clear that this eligibility for FSM is only based on current eligibility not ‘Ever 6’ or the ‘Universal Infant Free School Meals’ (Reception, Year 1, Year 2) if your name is not on our list it will be because you are not eligible or have not applied. We as a school do not have the power to change who is on the list.

All parents and carers have been asked on regular occasions to apply to see if your child is eligible for FSM as this directly helps with school funding. If you have not done this you can do this now using the link below.

If you have any other queries please call the School Office during normal school hours.

In these tricky times if you order a meal and for three days in a row do not collect it the orders of your meals for the rest of the week will be cancelled as we want to prevent as much food waste as possible.
